See the Pain
The Samaritan noticed a man others walked past. Most people didn't see him — or chose not to. FORGE men develop the same eyes: learning to look past the surface to the man who's actually struggling, the one nobody else is stopping for.
Pursue and Invite In
He crossed the street. He made the first move. FORGE men pursue personally — one man, one invitation, through relationship. Never through a campaign, never through a sign-up link. The invitation means something because the man behind it does.
Walk With
He didn't patch him up and leave. He stayed. He came back. Transformation happens over time, in proximity — not in a single conversation. FORGE men show up week after week, year after year. The staying is the point.
Point to Christ
The Samaritan didn't hand the wounded man a tract. He showed up, stayed, and paid the cost. When men watch the Holy Spirit actually change someone — their marriage, their anger, the way they carry pain — they stop arguing about faith and start asking questions.

Men multiplying

FORGE Groups
Small groups of men doing life together — weekly, in person, for the long haul. Honest conversations, real accountability, men who show up for each other. New men are brought in personally by a man who already knows them, never through a campaign.
IGNITE
Leader training for Christian men who want to start their own FORGE. A small group on Zoom — they go through it themselves, over a season, before they lead it, then are sent to start a group of their own.

Both are built on the same truth: transformation doesn't happen in rows. It happens in circles. And the Holy Spirit does the work.

Per first glimpsed the vision in 1999 — though he wouldn't understand it for years. A decade ago, going through the darkest period of his life, he watched seven men show up for him. They didn't fix him; they walked with him. That season became the catalyst: he knew he had to do for other men what those men had done for him. It took years to take shape — and in 2024, he founded Rocking Life. Only after starting it did he understand that God had walked him through the whole journey — the breaking, the pruning, the restoring — to prepare him to lead other men. Twenty-five years as a financial advisor. Twenty-five years leading small groups, including his current life group. In church leadership for over twenty-five years. John Maxwell certified coach. Married to Lynn, with six adult children.

Director
Lloyd met Per in a life group at their church in Rockwall, Texas in 2014 — and when Per went through the darkest period of his life in 2015, Lloyd opened his home. That friendship is the reason Rocking Life exists. He brings two decades of enterprise technology experience to the board, with a career spanning Wells Fargo, PayPal, JPMorgan Chase, and Infosys. Married to Sharon, with five adult children. Based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Doug first met Per in a life group at Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, Texas — and when Per's life fell apart a decade ago, Doug was one of the men who showed up and walked with him through it. That kind of presence is what Rocking Life exists to multiply. He has served in Lakepointe's media ministry since 2001, today as a volunteer Technical Director, and has previously served to lead a growth group there. Since 2002 he's also served with Cornerstone, a homeless ministry in Dallas. An audio integrated-circuit designer and architect by trade, he still works at Texas Instruments — over 34 years and counting. He enjoys regular flights on his powered paraglider. Married to Marni, with four adult children. Based in Rockwall, Texas.

Robert has served at Grace Fellowship Church in Columbus since 2016 — starting as a greeter and stepping into leadership of the Safety Services team in 2019. That same steadiness defines his role as Rocking Life's Treasurer. Fixed Asset Accountant at The Ohio State University. Master's in Accounting from Franklin University. Married to Tania, with three children. Based in Columbus, Ohio.
Governance

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing.

Rocking Life Ministry is the operating name of Rocking Life Man Cave Corporation, a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 99-2499686) governed by an independent board of directors.

The board reviews all financial activity annually and operates under a written conflict of interest policy with mandatory annual disclosures. Form 990 filings are publicly available through the IRS and Candid (formerly GuideStar).

Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
